AQUAMARINE

This gemstone’s name means water in Latin due to it’s colour of pale sea water. The majority of this stone is found today in Brazil, but also in parts of Africa and the Ural mountains of Russia. It is usually pale blue but can have greenish blue tones. It was first discovered in 1723 in Siberia and has been popular ever since for its beautiful appearance. It is associated with relaxation and purity as well as inspiring trust and was fabled to have been blessed by the sea goddesses to bring luck
