Lovelight Mother of Pearl Earrings
Contemporary and striking teardrop earrings to lend a free spirited and pure designer feel to any look. Featuring Mother of Pearl cut and polished to bring out the natural beauty and tone. Inlaid coloured mother of pearl is used in a soft palette of mainly pink, ivory and pale yellow. Mother of Pearl colour and depth of pattern will vary due to the unique nature of Mother of Pearl variation as each piece is individual. Set in Rhodium Plated Vermeil on Sterling 925 Silver in a high shine finish. (Rhodium is part of the Platinum family of metals for a more durable scratch resistant finish). Featuring a traditional earring post.

PINK TONED COLOURED MOTHER OF PEARL
This is the common name for “Nacre” which coats the inside of the oyster shell. Strong and iridescent it has a long history of decorative use as inlays as far back as 2600BC in Mesopotamia and China. Coloured varieties have been dyed using traditional methods used over hundreds of years, which are still a closely guarded secret amongst skilled artisans today. It is a symbolic stone of good fortune being linked to prosperity which is why it was given as a good luck token over the centuries.

Only the finest materials are used, mainly working in 925 silver and with some pieces plated in 14ct gold or rose gold vermeil. They work with over 50 different natural gemstones, these are cut and polished to set in the unique designs. Also used in some collections are Zirconia Crystal triple A rated simulated diamonds for the best clarity and sparkle.
